A Heartfelt Apology and a New Moon Return to Purpose
I want to begin with a sincere apology. I am truly sorry for not posting regularly over the last month, and for the quiet space where my words usually are. If you have checked in, waited for a new post, sent a kind message, booked a session, shared my work, or simply kept me in your thoughts, please know this: your support has meant more than I can fully explain.
This past month has asked a lot of my family and me.
There have been changes inside our home, shifts in our daily rhythm, emotional decisions, hard conversations, and moments that made us stop and see life differently. Some parts have been beautiful. Some have been heartbreaking. Some are still too tender to share in full.
But I did not want to return as if nothing happened. I did not want to post just to post. I wanted to come back with honesty, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The quiet was not empty
Even though I have been quiet here, life has been loud behind the scenes.
My family and I have been moving through a season of significant transition. There have been changes that affected our routines, our emotional energy, and the way we show up for one another. We have had to adjust, make space for grief, support each other through worry, and find small pockets of peace wherever we could.
Some days felt like we were holding everything together with prayer, patience, and very little sleep. Other days brought unexpected laughter in the middle of the mess. That has been one of the strangest parts of this season: heartbreak and inspiration have been sitting side by side.
There were moments when I felt completely drained, when I wondered how I could keep giving to my work when my own heart felt shattered and so tired. Then the simplest of things brought me back. A message from a client. A hug from someone I love. A quiet morning. A reminder that even when life changes quickly, purpose does not disappear.
It waits for us.
Heartbreak has a way of changing the room
Heartbreak does not always arrive as one single event. Sometimes it comes through a series of significant changes.
A familiar routine ends. A family dynamic shifts. A plan falls apart. A loved one needs more care. A door closes before you feel ready. You wake up and realize life looks different than it did just a few weeks ago.
That is where I have been.
I have been learning how to sit with sadness without letting it harden me. I have been learning how to honor what hurts without losing sight of what is still so so good. I have had to remind myself that rest is not failure, and silence is not abandonment.
I know many of you understand that kind of month. The kind where you keep going, but you do it softly with ease. The kind where you answer messages slower, cook easier meals, cry in private, and celebrate tiny wins as best you can.
If that has been your season too, I see you, I feel you, and you are not alone.

Inspiration found me in unexpected places
Even with the difficult parts, this month has also reminded me why I do what I do.
I found inspiration in my family’s resilience. I watched people I love keep showing up for each other in quiet, steady ways. I saw tenderness in ordinary acts: checking in, making room, listening without trying to fix everything.
I also found inspiration in you.
Every kind comment, every shared post, every booking, every message saying “this helped me” has felt like a small light. You may not realize how much those moments matter to the person creating behind the screen, but they do. They remind me that this space is not just content. It is connection.
That connection has always been at the heart of my work.
When I write, create, serve, or share, I am not trying to fill a feed. I am trying to offer something honest, useful, healing, or encouraging. I am trying to build a community where people feel less alone.
This past month made that even clearer.
The new moon helped me listen again
The recent new moon arrived at just the right time for me.
New moons often feel like a pause. Not a loud beginning, but a quiet one. A chance to breathe, reflect, and ask what needs to be planted next. This one felt especially personal. It gave me a moment to step back from the noise of the last few weeks and listen to what my spirit had been trying to say.
I realized I do not need to return perfectly. I just need to return truthfully.
So this is my new moon return to purpose. I am coming back with a softer heart, a deeper appreciation for the people around me, and a clearer understanding of why this work matters. I am coming back with more compassion for myself, and hopefully with even more compassion to pour into what I share with you.
Purpose is not always loud. Sometimes it sounds like a whisper saying, “Begin again.”

Thank you for staying close
To my followers, thank you for being patient with me. Thank you for reading, commenting, sharing, and continuing to show up even when I have been less present.
To my clients, thank you for trusting me, supporting my work, and allowing me to be human. Your grace during this season has been a gift. I never take your trust lightly.
To everyone who has quietly stayed connected, thank you. Sometimes support looks like a message. Sometimes it looks like a referral. Sometimes it looks like sharing a post with someone who needs it. Sometimes it looks like simply being here when I return.
All of it matters.
How we can move forward together
As I begin posting again, I would love for this space to feel even more connected and alive.
If something I share speaks to you, please pass it along to someone who may need it. If a post brings up a thought, a memory, or a question, leave a comment. If you know someone who could benefit from this community, invite them in.
You never know who might be encouraged by the very thing you almost kept to yourself.
Here are a few simple ways to support me in this next chapter:
Share a post that resonates with you.
Leave a comment when something touches your heart.
Send my work to a friend who may need encouragement.
Keep engaging with this community in honest, kind ways.
This space grows because of all of us.

I am grateful to be back
I cannot promise that life will always be neat. I cannot promise that I will never need another pause. But I can promise that when I show up here, I want to do it with care, truth, and heart.
Thank you for giving me room to be human. Thank you for being part of this community. Thank you for walking with me through the quiet and welcoming me back into the conversation.
This past month changed me. It broke my heart in places, but it also reminded me of what matters. Love. Family. Purpose. Community. Presence.
I am grateful to be here again.
And I am ready to begin again.
In Sacred Service,
Heather G.
